As a beauty blogger, nothing puts a damper on my mornings as much as waking up with unwanted acne. This tends to happen more often around that certain time of the month, and I’ve been searching for some botanically-basedbotanically-based products that can help me with prevention of pimples, before one actually shows up.
I was really excited to find out that Alba Botanica actually offers acne products that may be perfect for me - called the Acnedote™ regimen! I have been veering away from chemical-laden skincare products and gravitating more towards products that are wholesome, pure, and botanically-based and this os exactly what I found in the Acnedote™ regimen.

I really loved that these products were all so gentle, and you could use them every week to prevent acne! The Acnedote™ Clearing Gel Peel was actually quite fun to use, and my face felt SO fresh after. They actually fused together Willow Bark Extract with 1% salicylic acid to make this botanically-based product so effective. I saw results within 1 week of using this product and it was actually effective in acne prevention - I didn’t see a single blemish throughout my month of using it. But, just in case, I knew that if I did see any signs of a pimple popping up, that I could use the Acnedote™ Pimple Patch to combat it.
The Acnedote™ Face & Body scrub is also really lovely and exfoliating. I know of friends who experience acne on their body as well - so this scrub would be perfect to use all-over to fight acne!
Overall, I love how wholesome and botanically-based these products felt - while getting one of the hardest jobs done: combatting acne. These products are actually 100% vegetarian, and nourish your skin in such a beautiful way.
