When I was 12, my mom splurged and took me to a celebrity hairstylist to get an edgy haircut. I was so excited for the experience, and remember walking out of that salon feeling like a million bucks. Throughout the summer, I loved playing with all different kinds of hairstyles including braids, twists, super straight strands, and everything else under the sun. TIGI Bed Head products really helped me create and maintain these styles throughout the day.
My favorite product is definitely their Oh Bee Hive dry shampoo! It takes out all of the grease and root tangles from second and third day hair - making it so easy to leave the house when you’re limited on time and can’t wash your hair. I love that this dry shampoo isn’t too gritty like others, and doesn’t feel heavy on my roots either. I really like how easy it is to use and it’s definitely become a part of my day-to-day routine.
I also love the After Party Smoothing Cream. I love to wear my hair super straight sometimes but the straighter doesn’t always do the job alone. I like to use just a small dollop of this cream and gently work it in to the very top layer of my straight hair for the flyaways and frizz to be completely tamed. What you end up with is the sleekest, straightest hair you’ve ever had. It’s really incredible.
Sometimes, I like to go for a lot of shine, and I LOVE their Headrush Shine Spray for this! It really seems to add a little element of glisten to your hair and makes it look ultra healthy. I would use this product with any hairstyle, really, to incorporate shine and dimension into your locks.
