Los Angeles is iconic, no doubt. It’s featured in what seems like every movie and ad campaign I see. Rumored to have perfect weather (true, except those 120+ degree days that put us all in misery), LA is my home.
No matter where I travel to,
I’m glad to know LA is the city that I’ll be returning back to. My
chaotic, bustling, traffic-laden, beautiful metropolitan haven that
charges my creativity like nowhere else. And albeit an impressive
versatility in terms of landscape, my favorite part of LA lies along the
Pacific Coast Highway. The outer brim of oceanic beauty that I can’t
ever seem to keep away from for too long. Here’ are a few of my favorite
spots…
Coves of Leo CarilloI’ve ventured around coves along PCH ever since I was able to drive away from the valley to the pristine coastline. Around Leo Carillo, Malibu, the coves are plentiful and especially serene.
The Top of Point Dume
Off PCH/Heathercliff Dr. all the way up at the very top. Point Dume is pristine. You hike down to what feels like a private beach, completely encased with rock walls surrounding. During winters, sand is non-existent down here replaced by gorgeous rocks and stones. During summer, you can’t find a more secluded public space anywhere else in the city.
